Spring has Sprung

Try this delicious Matcha Sour cocktail was developed by expert mixologist Rose Simard. It's the perfect way to kick off the arrival of spring and couldn't be easier to make, especially when using our fully pasteurized Naturegg Simply Egg Whites.

Ingredients

1.5 oz
vodka
0.5 oz
amaretto
1 oz
oat beverage (oat milk)
0.5 oz
fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz
simple syrup
1/4 tsp
matcha powder
1 oz
Naturegg Simply Egg Whites
Garnish
matcha powder and 3 edible flowers

Directions

  1. Spray or paint half the glass of simple syrup with the sprayer or brush, then sprinkle with matcha powder.

  2. Pour all the ingredients into the shaker.

  3. Shake once vigorously without ice (dry shake).

  4. Add ice cubes, then shake vigorously a second time.

  5. Double-strain through a fine sieve into the glass sprinkled with matcha.

  6. Top with edible flowers.

Tips: Whipping

When adding sugar to egg whites begin after the whites are foamy and then add 1 tablespoon at a time, beating as you slowly sprinkle the sugar in. Check to be sure that sugar is dissolved by rubbing a bit of beaten white between your thumb and forefinger. It should feel smooth.
