Limited Voluntary Recall For Select Shell Eggs Announced
GeneralOut of an abundance of caution, Burnbrae Farms has initiated a voluntary recall for select eggs produced at one of our Manitoba farms. A limited quantity of eggs are affected in this recall due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Ensuring a safe egg supply and protecting public health is our top priority. Burnbrae Farms is working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to inform the public and remove the affected eggs from the marketplace.
This is a rare incident that affects a limited quantity of eggs. This does not reflect the quality and safety of Canada Grade A eggs. There have been no reported illnesses.
