Ingredients
- 3 package / 264 g
- EGGS2go! Hard Boiled Snack Pack, chopped (88 g each)
- 1/3 cup / 75 ml
- butter, softened
- 1/4 cup / 50 ml
- finely chopped chives or green onion
- 1/2 tsp / 2 ml
- dried dillweed
- 1/4 tsp / 1 ml
- each salt and pepper
- 1/4 tsp / 1 ml
- paprika
- assorted crackers or flat bread
Directions
Slice eggs in half and remove yolks. Finely chop whites and place in bowl. Press yolks through a fine sieve into another bowl. Blend yolks with butter, chives, dillweed, salt and pepper. Gently stir in chopped egg whites
Line a small loaf pan or dish with wax paper. Spoon in egg mixture and smooth top, pressing lightly into dish. Cover tightly and refrigerate 2 hours or up to 2 days.
Turn paté out onto serving dish and remove wax paper. Place paprika in a fine sieve and dust top of paté. Garnish with additional chives or fresh dill, if desired. Serve with crackers.
