Apricot Pisco Sour

Here's a fun and fruity twist on the classic Pisco Sour. The traditionally fresh foundation of pisco and citrus is transformed by the apricot jam, adding an additional layer of fruit flavor.

Ingredients

2 oz / 60 ml
pisco
1 oz / 30 ml
fresh lemon juice
0.75 oz / 22.5 ml
simple syrup
1 oz / 30 ml
apricot jam
1 pinch
ground cinnamon
1 oz / 30 ml

Directions

  1. Pour all the ingredients into the shaker.

  2. Shake once vigorously without ice (dry shake).

  3. Add ice cubes, then shake vigorously once more.

  4. Double strain into a glass filled with ice cubes using the fine strainer.

  5. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Tips

  1. You can experiment with different jams - e.g. peach jam, plum jam, apple jelly - for unique flavour twists.
