Ingredients

4 slice
French bread or bread of choice
1/2 tsp / 2 ml
salt
1 cup / 250 g
Egg Creations Fat Free Original, well-shaken
1/2 tsp / 2 ml
cinnamon
1 tsp / 5 ml
vanilla

Directions

  1. Dip thick slices of French bread or bread of choice; egg mixture consists of Egg Creations Fat Free Original, cinnamon and vanilla.

  2. Let bread soak in mixture, then sauté in a little non-hydrogenated margarine in frying pan until golden on both sides.

  3. Serve warm sprinkled with icing sugar.

  4. Accompany with maple syrup and fresh fruit or a fruit preserve or sliced almonds (optional). Raisin bread works well too.
